about

This track, and the rest on the EP, were recorded at the Pass in one day. No overdubs, Just live to tape so a bit raw and on the fly sounding but (mostly) in a good way. Oops -actually, we added a few overdubs to this track - a bit of a departure from the rest of the EP, but you only live twice.

lyrics

Somebody call me on my cellphone
Somebody tell me I’m an asshole

This is a crazy party isn’t it
And there are lots of beautiful people

You gotta check out Ram Dasse’s bathroom
He had the sink hand made in Bali
He got a house in Costa Rica
Didn’t his name used to be Steve?

This is a crazy party isn’t it
And there are lots of beautiful people

And so it begins
The light at the end of the tunnel
Is waved like a carrot
In front of a mess
Of unhappy souls
Who wanna feel better
And think that it’s wrong to be feeling
Anything but super happy
And oh, what’s the secret
These people don’t seem to have problems

Somebody call me on my cellphone
Somebody tell me I’m an asshole
This is a crazy party isn’t it
And there are lots of beautiful people
